YOUTH CLIMBINGEst. 2018
2026-27 season
Youth Series qualifying events and regional championships copied from the sheets on usaclimbing.org, plus the published Nationals dates.
USA Climbing's Youth Series page for the 2026-27 season points families to 18 region pages. Each region page embeds a spreadsheet of that season's events. This calendar is a reading copy of those sheets, checked October 13, 2026. It is not a second official schedule.
USA Climbing prints this line on the sheets: events are subject to change, and the info sheet is where event information lives. If a row here and the region page ever disagree, use the region page.
The pathway and the fee table already on this site are in the USA Climbing youth competitions guide. What to expect on meet day is in Youth Climbing Competitions: What Parents Need to Know. Fee ranges published here are in How much does a USA Climbing youth season cost?
Youth Nationals
July 11 to 18, 2027.
USA Climbing prints July 11 to July 18, 2027 on the Youth Series page. The Youth Nationals page says the meet is at the USA Climbing Training Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, for Boulder, Lead/TR, and Speed. The pages do not assign a discipline to this date block.
Youth Nationals
July 24 to 25, 2027.
USA Climbing prints July 24 to July 25, 2027 on the Youth Series page, separate from the July 11 to 18 block. The host line on the Youth Nationals page is the USA Climbing Training Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
These birth years are the list on the USA Climbing membership page for the 2026-27 season. Rules for who advances live in the 2026-27 rulebook.

Each qualifying event, regional, and divisional is copied from the spreadsheet USA Climbing embeds on that region page. Youth Nationals dates are printed on the Youth Series page, and the Salt Lake City host line is on the Youth Nationals page. Open the source link on the row you need, because USA Climbing says the sheets can change.
Many sheets list boulder regionals on March 6, 2027 and Lead/TR regionals on May 1, 2027. Regions 22, 31, and 32 list both disciplines in early March. Region 71 lists Lead/TR on March 6 and boulder on March 7. Use the row for your region instead of the common weekend.
The USA Climbing membership page lists 2026-27 youth categories by birth year: U11 is 2017 or later, U13 is 2015 to 2016, U15 is 2013 to 2014, U17 is 2011 to 2012, and U19+ is 2008 to 2010. The 2026-27 rulebook says U19+ replaces the former U19 and U20 categories.
Some regional and divisional rows have a date and a discipline and no host facility yet. This page leaves the host blank instead of guessing a gym. Check the USA Climbing region page again before you book travel, and read the info sheet when one is linked.
No. This page is a reading copy of the public sheets. Membership, registration, and eligibility run through USA Climbing. Start on your region page, then use the season cost guide on this site for the fee ranges already published here.
